Bean There

This post was inspired by a friend on twitter. (@shahil with his amazing blog http://findingjozi.co.za/)
His blog is all about Johannesburg(aka Jozi or Joburg) and you sure to be taken for a adventure reading his blogposts.

So with that said I was inspired by him since I began following him on twitter. Downside is that I did not own a excellent camera at that time but now I finally have a iPhone 4S so no excuses, I will show you places I go to and amazing events I attend in Joburg and the rest of the world.

My first place I've been dying to share with everyone is a lovely, chilled coffee roastery / coffee bar.
It is situated on 44 Stanley Avenue(http://www.44stanley.co.za) in Milpark. So they say "44 Stanley is Joburg's best kept secret.".
So hush hush, just go and enjoy the authentic environment. The environment as you walk in 44 Stanley is amazing... You will not say you are in Johannesburg. I never capture pictures of the amazing environment to the coffee bar because it is something to be experienced in person.

As I walk to the coffee shop pass all the other amazing shops I come to a doorway and a solid wall.
I look up and see the most capturing arrow with a title. (First thing that ran threw my mind is "I love that font.*GEEK*")

Looking threw the door before me I could see the clean, mint, pristine sitting area.(They offer take away as well.).

The trade - big on the wall... You know you've come to a quality coffee bar.
The name "BEAN THERE" is so original. and yes yes all the coffee beans are really there. They sell coffee beans which they roast in the store themselves with the awesome vintage machine below.
This machine is almost always in action and its amazing to see how it works in person.

The décor is simply beautifully themed.
Walk to the wall of coffee craze(I call it that.), you'll love it if you a coffee enthusiast.
Some lovely different coffee crazed items (Sometimes they have vintage items on display)

Lovely sitting area.
All the different coffee beans.(All smells amazing, wish I had a machine at home.)

The counter where the baristas work their magic.

Is it a special day for you and you significant other... there is place for that too.

That concludes the décor but what's the point of this blogpost without tempting your taste-buds.
Take a look at the menu. Off the menu they have cakes and marshmallows and some other delicious stuff including import chocolate.
YUM YUM
Overall this place is excellent coffee bar and is also budget effective.

One last thing a panoramic of the place ... it never come out 100% but i think its pretty good for my first panoramic.

Next time I am not going to use the "standard" iPhone 4S panoramic app well jailbroken feature. I will use a better app next time.

Hope you enjoyed the tour of my favourite coffee destination.
B.T.W some WITS lectures go here ... Beware lol.
